I've been speaking with Vastec (http://www.vestec.com/) about a workshop on using their commercial speech recognition software with Asterisk. It would cover getting a system up and running, configuring some recognition scenarios, and having some of their staff on hand to answer questions. You would need to purchase their $25 developer kit to participate.
