The basic settings which make the analog adapters work with no registration server in the middle are:
Register = No Make Call Without Reg = Yes Answer Call Without Reg = Yes Proxy=<other device IP> User ID = <device extension> You should then be able to call the other device by dialing it's extension. Both the PAP2 and SPA style devices should work the same. Note that someone else already mentioned that you can also set "immediate" mode so you can just pick up the phone to call the other device which probably makes sense in this configuration since it would be the only device you could call anyhow.
