Hi everyone, I am curious as to how Toll-Free numbers are assigned and allocated. As for as local exchange goes, CLECs or ILECs hold a whole exchange or part of it but is that also the case for Toll-Free numbers? For example if a toll-free number is not yet assigned to anyone does it reside with BOCs? And how does it work after it's assigned? Does it get forwarded to a PRI on CLEC or iLEC or directly to a local number?
