Do you really need QoS with that much
bandwidth?
Anyways, getting
back to AstShape. Several things:
1) Are you talking about
kilobits or kilobytes?
1) With a connection speed that high (and
symmetrical) you can't
possibly be using cable or ADSL. Where is your
connection coming from?
You might not need to set your EXTUP and
EXTDOWN numbers so low.
3) AstLinux sets up several queues with
varying amounts of actual
bandwidth. You can read AstShape and look at
the output of "astshape
status" to see how it all
works.
