Darrick,

        I didn't post it to the list when I first got it because that binary 
was sent to me via e-mail from the developer at Digium that compiled it. 
  It didn't exactly scream "release" to me.  That's why I let it sit in 
SVN for a while - so I could do my own testing, etc.

        They still haven't told me whether or not it is a final version, etc. 
When it came time for a new release, push came to shove and I included it.
