IDE to CF adapters are ideal for astlinux in this sort of application, IMHO. In case anyone doesn't have a ready, inexpensive source for these, here's where I get mine:
A $10 one that plugs straight into the MB IDE connector: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822998003 A cool $15 one that hangs on a PCI slot, giving external access to the CF card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16812186002 The CF cards I use in these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820183153 (Yeah, 512MB is overkill, but they're cheap and they work for me...) (I have no affiliation with Syba or NewEgg, just thought my source for this part might be useful to others on this list) -Matt Farley Darrick Hartman wrote: >Joe Baker wrote: > > >>Matthew Farley wrote: >> >> >> >>>Joe: >>> Are you using a keydisk (USB or partition or whatever)?
