Thanks for doing this, and for all your work.
I can report that "astup" works well. The only problem I encountered was that I needed to select the second boot option (use third partition ...), and since I normally ssh into the box, I had to pull out the serial cable to have the necessary visibility. No problem, and everything came up as expected.
