Hi Gene,

Many of us including myself make a living with AstLinux. My chosen
platforms are NET4801 and the Via Mini-ITX x10000 1GHz series of
machines.

My latest install used the Via C10000 (the one with the built in CF
reader) and a Digium T100p card. A true no moving parts solution. 

I supply the Via boards in either a mini-itx desktop case (for those
small offices with only a shelf) and a 1U rack mount.

When next I get a few hours I'm gonna put one of the Via's on the bench
and to some Asterisk Benchmarking against it.

I use the NET4801 for installs where they are happy to have an external
PSTN interface such as the SPA3K. For testing/load info on the NET4801
take a look at http://www.enicomms.com/asterisk-testing

All of your other requirements are absolutely doable.
