Hi Gene, Many of us including myself make a living with AstLinux. My chosen platforms are NET4801 and the Via Mini-ITX x10000 1GHz series of machines.
My latest install used the Via C10000 (the one with the built in CF reader) and a Digium T100p card. A true no moving parts solution. I supply the Via boards in either a mini-itx desktop case (for those small offices with only a shelf) and a 1U rack mount. When next I get a few hours I'm gonna put one of the Via's on the bench and to some Asterisk Benchmarking against it. I use the NET4801 for installs where they are happy to have an external PSTN interface such as the SPA3K. For testing/load info on the NET4801 take a look at http://www.enicomms.com/asterisk-testing All of your other requirements are absolutely doable.
