Looks to me from the picture that the PCI interface is a custom ASIC as
opposed to Sangoma which uses an FPGA.  Not sure what Digium uses.  ASIC's
are better in the long run because the unit cost is lower.  I'm willing to
bet the hybrids are the same as what Sangoma and/or Digum uses.  

Good to see more options out there anyways.

The card has been designed from the ground up, and the only queues we've
taken were in writing our module to be Zaptel compliant.
I too have the R4FXO working on AstLinux, though I haven't submitted to Kris
yet because it's not "pretty" yet.
