We're not using the opensource codec, just the one standard with AstLinux. So no problems there.

Joshua,

Please be aware that your licenses from Digium grant you specific 
rights to use their implementation, not someone else's.  In AstLinux 
this is a good thing because Digium's codecs are the only ones that work!
