I am (and have been) working on getting the Asterisk 1.4 betas to
compile in the AstLinux development environment. Zaptel, libpri, are
done. Asterisk still has a little ways to go...
Either way, I hope to have it done and in SVN before Asterisk 1.4 is
released. :)
From what I know of the Asterisk GUI, it runs on a webserver that has
been embedded in Asterisk. It is very lightweight (~1mb or so), and is
perfect for AstLinux. It will be included in AstLinux once any issues
with Asterisk 1.4 have been resolved.
