I’m running g729 pass thru on my soekris with astlinux
0.4.4 and I am unable get voicemail to work, everytime I try to record a
message I get the following message on the asterisk console. Nov 8 01:45:11 WARNING[1080]: channel.c:2380
set_format: Unable to find a codec translation path from g729 to slin Nov 8 01:45:11 WARNING[1080]: app.c:621
ast_play_and_record_full: Unable to set to linear mode, giving up So as a test I tried to register a g729 license, and I
can’t get the register program to work either and it exits after a few
lines of output: pbx ~ # ./register Digium Product Registration Copyright (C) 2004-2006, Digium, Inc. Use the '-l' option to see license information for software included in this program. pbx ~ # Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on here? Any
