Anyone have a pointer to configuring sound?- I have none. I have onboard VIA
AC97, but there are no sound modules loaded, and I'm not finding ALSA or OSS
or anything. I get this error when I try to dial from the Asterisk console:
pbx*CLI> dial 1000

Nov 17 05:51:11 WARNING[2222]: chan_oss.c:585 setformat: Unable to re-open DSP
device /dev/dsp: No such file or directory
It repeats until I type the 'hangup' command. lsmod doesn't show any sound
modules loaded, and I haven't found any on the system to load.
I don't have any PCs without VIA AC97 chipsets to test..
