Fred, In general, the list of packages that are considered "up to date" are the list that are in the default astlinux.config. I'll add an FAQ section to the http://www.astlinux.org website because I'm getting tired of answering that question. (take a peak at the archives of the mailing list to see how often it comes up). For the packages that do not have an sha1sum on the files.astlinux.org website, you can create your own sha1sum file and put it in the dl directory or you can add it to the files_exclude file in the toolchain directory.
