Will do. >Also, to be fair, we do have this page which is under the "Development" >section. The "Documentation" section is intended for end users. >http://www.astlinux.org/node/24 Missed it. It's a good starting point. Ideally, it'd be nice to have the whole source for the current release instead of 1) only having the trunk, and 2) depending on so many web sites for packages: If any one of them is unplugged or moves/renames files, the trunk won't compile :-/ But then, it looks like the whole source code required to build AstLinux is pretty big, so that's a lot of disk space. Latest news: Thanks to your help, I made good progress, and apparently, was able to compile the trunk code successfully :-) However, the IBM thinclient fails booting the image that I flashed onto the CF card with the familiar "Operating system not found". Here's the output of the three steps after running "make ; exit ; ./makeimage.sh 64": 1. Creating the image file http://pastebin.ca/868219 2. Copying the image file to the CF that already had a Linux partition as /dev/sdd1 http://pastebin.ca/868221 3. Deleting /dev/sdd1, and copying the image onto /dev/sdd http://pastebin.ca/868223 Any idea what's wrong?
