I am running Astlinux .048 and I have some problem
with the onboard RTL8110sc chipsets on a Jetway
motherboard (VIA CN700 series)
the nic sends discovery messages to the router but
never receives anything.
this is my work around but I would like to know how to
automate the process during boot time. sometimes I
have to do this more than once to get an ip address
from the router.
ifconfig eth0 down
ifconfig eth0 media 100baseTX
/etc/init.d/network restart
