It's not so much the modules that are small, it's the main perl binary 
that is big.  I don't know if micro-perl accepts modules.  Do a google 
search on it.  I'm heading out of the office for a while.  Perhaps 
Thursday/Friday this week I'll have some time to actually catch up on 
some of this stuff!
