The Prefs tab allows you to customize your number formats with  
"Number Format:".  The syntax is UNIX regular expression format.  To  
get started, just enter "^[0-9]{3,18}$" would allow any number with 3  
to 18 digits, and customize as you see fit.

For completeness, edit your "Error String:" to remind you what your  
number format is when there is an error.
