Not wanting to beat an almost dead horse, but, when it was available, I
copied the one and only version of 0.5 and installed it.
I am using the generic 586 version. 1682
Yes, I know that it is Asterisk 1.2, which many consider obsolete, but
for too many reasons to go into I want to continue with 1.2 for now.
In installing it, I discovered what I believe to be a flaw with the
genunion script. Unlike the ones distributed with the later trunk
versions soon to be 0.6, it doesn't create a keydisk.
If one runs the genkd script, then it seems to wipe out the unionfs!
Manually creating the kd is, to be kind, a royal pain!
I "borrowed" a genunion script from a later trunk version, ran it,
installed the excellent altweb interface, and now all is happy. A
cumbersome procedure that seems to work!
Have I missed something along the line??
If someone smarter than I could fix this one problem with the 0.5
package, It might make a few potential users very happy.
If I even had the faintest idea how to do it myself, I would, but that
isn't possible. Not enough gray matter!
I would be willing to host it if no one else is, though making it
available generally would seem the logical thing to do.
Yes, I know resources are thin, very thin, but I believe this might fill
a need and MIGHT even please the previous poster.
