The whole dahdi thing introduces a big series of changes.
Heh yeah tell me about it. Our predictive dialer needs to be updated for 1.6 as well. I kept saying "well it's only a release candidate" but now it's actually out :) Luckily I created separate .c/.h files for parsing manager this time, and config options to decide which version of Asterisk you're talking to. The Dahdi changes could have been simple, but the opportunity was taken to fix long time bugbears at the same time, making the upgrade exercise harder. What kind of time frame are you looking at for the 0.7 branch? If it's not that far away maybe 0.7 should be the last of 1.4 with trunk branching to 1.6 at the same time. I would have suggested running a separate branch for 1.4 and 1.6, but I think development efforts are reasonably thinly spread already. -- Kind Regards, Matt Riddell Director _______________________________________________ http://www.venturevoip.com (Great new VoIP end to end solution) http://www.venturevoip.com/news.php (Daily Asterisk News - html) http://www.venturevoip.com/newrssfeed.php (Daily Asterisk News - rss) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Astlinux-users mailing list Astlinux-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/astlinux-users Donations to support AstLinux are graciously accepted via PayPal to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
