Understood. Will use lists as stated, which makes sense.

One last build-related issue:

The build worked !!

bash-3.2$ cd astlinux-0.6-2158
bash-3.2$ ls
astflag astlinux-0.6-2158.run.conf initrd.img
astlinux-0.6-2158.run astlinux-0.6-2158.run.sha1

Thanks for your help.

Now I have to recall why I was doing the build in the first place.... oh
yeah, ntp/ipv6.

Subject: [Astlinux-users] Astlinux Mailing Lists

We have quite a few new people around here lately (which is great!). I
just wanted to point out that we have a two mailing lists. The
astlinux-users mailing list was originally the only mailing list. At
some time, we added the astlinux-devel mailing list to allow us to
separate the boring developer stuff from the general users.

I know neither mailing list is particularly high traffic, but for
archival purposes, it may be easier to separate topics to some degree.

Most of the discussions regarding the development environment, should
probably take place on the astlinux-devel mailing list. Most of that
discussion involves problems that do not affect the resultant
distributed files. That may lead to general users perceiving a problem
that doesn't exist.

The astlinux-users mailing list is intended for user interaction on the
binary Astlinux releases.

If you're interested in tracking the development progress, you may also
find the svn commit mailing list.

As long as I'm bringing this up, we wouldn't mind having a few
additional contributors. Most of the development work involves bash
scripts and makefiles.

Thanks,

Darrick
