Not much help, but my Soekris net5501 running 0.6.2 has been up since the day after 0.6.2 was released. Previously I was experimenting with 0.6.1 and did not notice any issues of that nature.

Is there in anything in /var/log/messages or /var/log/secure?

I am experiencing an odd problem since going to 0.6.1 (via) running on a

Wyse Winterm box.  The 0.6.1 upgrade could coincidental, my purpose in
mentioning it here is to see if I can narrow down the cause based on
others' experiences.

Very simply, if I leave the PBX powered on overnight, in the morning
Asterisk has exited. The console which was left at the CLI command
prompt is back at the OS shell "pbx #" prompt (obviously it is not
possible to make calls from the phones connected to the switch).

There are no messages either logged or recorded on the console to
suggest what the cause was.


any clue as to what might be the problem.
