Martin, I would have to think the low temps have something to do with it, from the specs... TDM400P Environment, Temperature: 0 to 50° C (32 to 122° F) operation -20 to 65° C (4 to 149° F) storage Keep in mind that standard semiconductor parts aren't individually tested for temperature operation, but are validated by statistical sampling. So, some parts will be more susceptible than others, but presumably within the spec range, which you are touching at the bottom.
