I'm placing some beta images built from the 0.7 branch (svn 3380) on http://mirror.astlinux.org/beta-firmware
I built most of the images, but not all. They are also currently built without wanpipe and without net-snmp support to keep the size down. We may need to trim some stuff in other places because I think we really want to keep at least wanpipe in the standard image. I'm pretty sure some of the /stat/etc/wanpipe files can be removed to save space. Additionally, I still like the idea of moving the sounds out of the main image and either storing them on the unionfs partition or something along those lines. The sound files rarely change. These are the ones that I did build. ALIX (no Rhino or Solos since most of these don't have pci slots) net4801 net5501 geni586 via viac7 To do a new install, grab the img.gz file If you are currently running a 0.6 version, you can use upgrade-run-image script or the web interface upgrade option, specifying the beta-firmware directory. After upgrading, you will need to upgrade the config settings for the firewall by using the upgrade-arno-firewall or following the appropriate instructions on the web interface network/firewall page. It is recommended to NOT modify firewall.conf but instead copy the variables you need to change into a file in /mnt/kd/rc.conf.d/ (perhaps user.conf) OR use the web interface. Note that astfw was removed from 0.7 a while ago. So you'll want to prepare yourself to move to Arno's fw before upgrading.
