Lonnie, thanks for the clarification on the file locations and thank you Tom for publishing the configs in the documentation. I wiped the card and reloaded AstLinux on the card using the same config files but in the proper locations this time. We continued testing of the unit and found that the Nortel was loosing the DCHAN occasionally. I have since tracked the problem down. The Sangoma card requires that the dchannel be governed by its internal hardware instead of DHADI. Instead of using 'dchan=24' in the system.conf you must use 'hardhdlc=24'. Tom, you probably should make that change on the documentation.
The Soekris combo seems to be working very well with AstLinux. With 10 ulaw call paths open 'top' shows 7.6% cpu usage. I'm not sure if this will scale but it's very impressive none the less. The voice quality is on par with our Adtran 904. Tomorrow we will load the PRI to capacity.
