Agreed. But, analog is still very prevalent in many areas. 

If you watch "carefully", you may see one or more companies releasing x86 based 
products with analog FXO/FXS capabilities in the very near future. :-)

As already observed, there are plenty of x86 based appliance devices to chose 
from. Whatever advantage the blackfin had a couple of years ago, I no longer 
think is relevant.
