Hi Graham I think you are reaching some of the key issues and decisions which have had to be made about the Astlinux documentation. The wiki is meant to document Astlinux. It is not meant to document Asterisk, Zaptel, DAHDI, Sangoma, or anything else for which primary documentation is available elsewhere.
What you are saying is that the Astlinux wiki doesn't make this clear to users, and this is extremely valuable. I'll have a look at the relevant pages today and see if I can make them clearer as to when you need to consult third-party documentation. In the meantime, I won't post my configs here until you definitely want them, so you can see how well the documentation stands up.
