We've been building Asterisk 1.8 beta images and working out many of the
issues with a new release. Some of the new features of Asterisk 1.8
require additional packages that do not yet exist in AstLinux. Each of
those additional packages take up space. While some are great features,
others may not be as widely used and won't be the focus.

Now that Lonnie has resolved an issue with the xmldoc parsing which was
preventing CLI documentation in Asterisk from working, I'll build a new
set of beta images that have Asterisk 1.8.0.

These won't have Google integration, but you can certainly test out
Asterisk 1.8.0 with at least as many features as Asterisk 1.4.
