Since this was originally setup via the web interface, but you only have SSH 
access now, edit:

What are your syslog messages related to "msmtp " and "msmtpqueue" ?  (sanitize 
if necessary)

Is your "/etc/asterisk/voicemail.conf" setup with the correct email info ?
