I just did my first from-scratch build of a CF card in quite some time. I had created a bunch of CF cards probably 18 months ago and since then had just been updating them to newer versions of Astlinux.
So, I ran out of those cards, and had to create a new one. I dug through my notes to find the multi-page details of how to do it. Having not done this in quite a while, I expected a struggle remembering all the bits I forgot to write down. I allocated a full day to doing this. Then I found the documentation, and the new web page for doing the genunion/genkd process. And I'm done in less than an hour ! My compliments to the devs and to the documentation effort, Tom Chadwin, if I'm not mistaken, for really streamlining this process. It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense. http://p.sf.net/sfu/splunk-d2d-c2 _______________________________________________ Astlinux-users mailing list Astlinux-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/astlinux-users Donations to support AstLinux are graciously accepted via PayPal to pay...@krisk.org.
