Fernando,

This is not an issue where you're going to get an answer in 5 minutes. We are
all here on a volunteer basis. You're going to have to do some digging on your
own to fix this if you are using a platform other than what the developers are
using.

Additionally, we asked nicely that you use the -devel mailing list because this
issues is a development issue, not an issue that affects anything that people
subscribed to the -users mailing like likely care about. Ignoring that request
does nothing to help get your question answered. If we had a quick answer, you
would have gotten it when someone read the message. Lonnie responded to your
question and had asked you to check something. You did not bother to answer
that or do any digging on your own.

Supporting the build environment on Debian/Ubuntu and Redhat/Centos covers over
90% of the users. If you choose to try to make this work on something else,
you're going to be pretty much on your own. It _should_ work, but you're going
to have to consult Google for more help. The general build system is based on
a recent copy of buildroot.

If you have the space on your system, I would suggest setting up a virtual
machine with either CentOS6 or Debian6 as the operating system. I'd take that
a step farther and use a 32bit version of the OS. That will allow you to use
whatever you want as your main OS and keep the development environment isolated
in it's own virtual machine.

Regards,

Darrick

Lonnie,

The devel list seems way to quiet...
I have been stuck with an error that I posted on the devel list...

Thank You,

Yes, AstLinux 1.0 (to be released soon) is built using crosstool-ng using
eglibc.

If you want to try the new build system, we have documented the new process:
