3 gig is the normal limit for any 32 bit OS.. Well  3.5 gigs..  But unless
you go 64 bit you cannot tap  any more RAM than that... Most all of the
atom boards will run a 64 bit kernel..  I run  my D525 boards regularly
with 64 bit OS...  With asterisk..  I have tested 768 line system with 80
simultaneous calls without even flinching....

My Jetway boards had issue with older astlinux because they need the
libata drivers running to access its disks..  I havent tried them with the
latest astlinux yet..
