Yes, you are correct, res_http_post is not built by default (among many things) and we don't purposely enable it. I'm not sure how the other AstLinux team members feels about this. Can you describe what parts of the Asterisk GUI is failing because of the missing res_http_post, other than uploading a sound file in the "Voice Menu Prompts" menu as you mentioned ? I don't use the Asterisk GUI, so I am a poor judge with this request.
