Hi, I'm trying to install AstLinux on an ATA drive hooked up temporarily
through a USB enclosure - the plan is to put it into a box I have sitting
around with no other optical or physical drives. I'm having some trouble
copying the image accross, PhysGUI starts but then exits quickly giving an
error. My bsd based OS does pretty much the same thing but a different error
message. I think this might be a limitation of my USB enclosure's controller
not allowing low level access but I'm really not sure. Is there another way to
install AstLinux? I saw mentions of a CD based installer by searching but I
could never track down a link. I'll give pretty much anything a shot, PXE, USB
or CD based install if anyone has any experience I'd really appreciate your
input.
