Jamshaid,

Looking at your net5501 comBIOS output, I have a few comments...

1) You have "FLASH = Secondary" set, this not the default, probably does not
matter if there are no other IDE drives, but to be sure from the comBIOS prompt
type

 > set FLASH=primary

then "show" should yield
...
FLASH = Primary
...
and reboot.

2) You say you are using a SanDIsk CF card, but according to your comBIOS
output you are using a "SILICONSYSTEMS INC 1GB" CF card. That CF card has
known issues with the net5501. See here:

http://lists.soekris.com/pipermail/soekris-tech/2008-October/015078.html

Again, only use a SanDisk CF card in the net5501. If it does not boot with
"Pri Mas SanDisk ..." in the net5501 comBIOS then it possibly won't work.

3) You mentioned in your email that "i am also using usb by genkd function".
There is no reason to use USB or genkd on a net5501. This puzzles me. The
install instructions:

http://doc.astlinux.org/userdoc:new-install

does not tell you to use "genkd".

Finally, please follow the install instructions with a SanDisk CF card in your
net5501. Doing so should result in a solid, working system in 5-10 minutes.

Lonnie
