In my opinion SLA was a red headed step child to begin with. What most people
wanted was bridged appearance..a hybrid of BLF and parking lot all in a nice
package... many people confused the 2 and whe. SLA came along most people ho
hummed it when they learned you couldnt use it for extensions... only truly
analog trunks.. my thoughts are digium doesnt care.. and perhaps realized its
not easy with SIP. Also make bridged appearance difficult too.. a can of worms
they may not wish to open.
