I use the BLF keys on both only with hints (it works seemlessly). The Yealink makes a blind transfer to the destination. For the Snom you have to press "Transfer" + the BLF key to make a blind transfer. On the Yealink an idle BLF key lights green and on ringing or busy turns to red. On a Snom the BLF is off on idle on turns on (yellow) when busy. I have not much used the XML features, so I cannot comment on that, except the AstLinux directory works on both. > From: Michael Keuter <[email protected]> > To: The Cadillac Kid <[email protected]>; AstLinux Users Mailing List > <[email protected]> > Sent: Tuesday, December 18, 2012 6:51 AM > Subject: Re: [Astlinux-users] SIP endpoints with Hot Provisioning? > > > Am 18.12.2012 um 12:34 schrieb The Cadillac Kid: > >> this is more of a general asterisk question as opposed to astlinux.. >> however I greatly value the experiences of this group.. as many are >> advanced and longtime users of asterisk and associayted SIP technologies... >> >> I have struggled in the asterisk world for years with the one thing that >> Legacy PBX users seem to complain about most when switching to VOIP.. and >> thats the fact that.
