Hi Dany,

Sorry, but the standard AstLinux kernel does not include the "atl2" L2 Fast 
Ethernet driver the EeePC 701 SD uses (as per my googling).

Regardless, the EEEPC does not seem like a good hardware match for AstLinux... 
if you are looking to recycle old hardware take a look at some x86 thin clients 
that would be a better match.  Search the mailing-list archives here for some 
that are known to work.
