Hi, I recently purchased a ChromeBook to learn about Chrome OS, hearing good things as an inexpensive IT guy's companion.
It takes a little time to figure out what Chrome OS can and can't do, but the killer App is the fully accessible Linux underneath with "Developer Mode" enabled. http://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-enable-developer-mode-on-a-chromebook/ A basic ChromeBook, with USB->Serial, USB3->ethernet and USB3->SATA dongles is a very useful set of tools for AstLinux deployment and management.
