*IMPORTANT NOTICE:*
AstLinux 1.2.10 was the last supported version for "net5501" and "alix" board
types. A custom build can still be used to generate 'run' images for "net5501"
and "alix" board types.

If "one" had a few Soekris NET5501-70 (note 5501) boxes in place and all in
pbx-only mode (with only ssh and iax ports open)...
What would be the highest Astlinux version that you would run on these?
And which version of Asterisk?
By the way - In North Africa not everything is, or has to be, up-to-date.

+1 for the PC Engines APU1, it is the cheapest of all recent boards (at least
here in Germany).

*should* be a good choice later this year after the BIOS is feature complete. Same price
as the APU1 but with Intel i211AT NIC's. We have not tested it yet.
Another good choice is the Jetway NF9HG-2930 mini-itx board

Currently that board seems hard to find, but I'm sure Jetway is making more.
Of course you would have to add a case, memory and SSD.

Most all the modern boards will consume less than 10 W and be
supercomputer-like compared to your net4801. :-)
