Not on bootup, the 70-persistent-net.rules file is used early when udev is initiated and NIC modules loaded. You could create a /mnt/kd/rc.local.stop shell script (make executable) -- /mnt/kd/rc.local.stop -- #!/bin/sh RULES_FILE="/mnt/asturw/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules" ## Remove 70-persistent-net.rules on shutdown if [ -f "$RULES_FILE" ]; then rm "$RULES_FILE" fi -- So, if the system was shutdown cleanly, this would work.
