Hi,
  I'm using the latest Kernel.org kernel (2.6.29-rc8).

  I try:
     modprobe ath5k
     ifconfig wlan0 up
iwconfig wlan0 essid XXX key restricted 123456789a

but the ath5k does not associate with either of the two access points
in range.

I tried also
     modprobe ath5k nohwcrypt=1
with the same results.

iwconfig shows the correct key, but shows the mode as `open' instead
of `restricted'.

The driver works for unencrypted and WPA (using wpa-supplicant)
encrypted networks. But I can't get it to use WEP.

iwlist scan can see the protected access points (of course, it cannot
see the SSIDs).

(I'm not subscribed to ath5k-devel, so please CC me on any replies).
