I haven't tested that.  However, I trust Bruno's tests, so we know that
ath5k is not performing at its best right now.  I cannot make any
definite statements about MadWifi without testing.  However, it's
plausible that MadWifi might work better in the extremely bad
conditions, e.g. when the antenna is disconnected.
