Hello All, I wanted to get Netgear 511 card up with hostapd + ath5k. If one specify ssid, driver and interface (only) in hostapd.conf and start the hostapd, beacons were seen with channel set to zero (IE of beacon). If we specify channel, hw_mode along with previous parameters in hostapd.conf we get "Could not set channel for kernel driver".
