Well, is it TX or RX speed? Or both? 2 megabytes/sec sounds like it's doing 11g only, but you've shown it's currently selected MCS6, so it should be TX'ing fine. It would likely be nice if there were some better tools for trying to log some aggregate, real-time statistics as to what's going on, both TX and RX. It's quite likely something that's easily fixed. I don't have a Linux box handy, but the output of the phy debug statistics would be nice. Eg, stuff like: * The output of the rate control logic; * The output of the packet errror counters. I also wonder if ubuntu is shipping with the 'nohwcrypt' option enabled. Would someone please give me a hand and help Alexander here find out the above? That way we can try and move forward. (Note: with ar9285 issues it seems ath9k is either having issues with antenna selection and/or crypto handling. I don't know why the latter is occuring and I don't have time to go digging into it. I do know the driver can and does do full rate MCS7 TX though. I've done it myself, both Linux and FreeBSD.)
