Subject: Re: [ATI] repost Thanks for your response. Is this a self contained unit, or does it require a laptop? Is there a web site where I can get some additional information? What I am looking for doesn't really have to be portable. Most of what I will be looking atwill be in my office. Thanks Steve From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Eileen Belton Sent: Monday, December 05, 2011 3:41 PM To: 'Adaptive technology information and support.' Subject: Re: [ATI] repost Steve, Here are our thoughts from MoAT, ETC. The Aumax might be a good choice. It's hard to tell for sure though since you are going to be looking at large paper. They're may be better options out there for camera positioning. The Aumax is somewhat portable and comes in 19" and 22" widescreens. The camera can be used on the left, right or front of the monitor. It also has distance viewing and different contrast options. There's also the Transformer, but I don't think the camera position would be high enough to view the house plans. Benefits it that it's much more portable, and it's used with a laptop. Eileen Belton, M.A., C.E.E.S. Show Me Loan and K.A.T. Hello, I am looking for some information about CCTV magnifiers. I saw one about four or five years ago. It was similar to a laptop in size and construction except a CCTV camera attached to the top of the monitor. I am visually impaired but can still see a little with my left eye with color enhancement and magnifications. In my business, I need to see house plans and other information that is printed on larger paper than the standard legal and letter size. I would like to have some info from someone that has used a device like this and maybe make some suggestions as to what type of equipment I need to enable me to view the plans and drawing that I deal with. I hope this post is appropriate for this list, I apologize if it isn't. I would appreciate any advice, suggestions or input. Thanks, Steve Crews Phone 573-431-3325 Email [email protected]
