there’s no contest there. TMobile has no accessibility support to speak of,
and they are the smallest network in terms of coverage.

Better than T-Mobile?

Its not as bad as it used to be. There’s been expansion. A store could show
you better on a map. In rural Missouri it’s better, and you are allowed to
roam to Verizon’s network for free if you don’t do it all the time. Verizon
has bar none, the best coverage in Missouri of all the networks to my
understanding.

This sure sounds enticing but I would be concerned about the coverage area.
When I used Sprint several years ago it sure wasn’t as good as AT&T. Does
anyone know if the service has improved?

AT&T and Verizon iPhone users to switch

Here is the exact text of an article Terrie forwarded earlier to another list.
I feel it’s important because this promotion may only go to the end of the
month. I for one am paying $115 a month for my A.T.T IPhone 4. If I can port
my number and get out of my contract for free, switch to the 4S, get a discount
on the 5, and have unlimited data, as well as almost cut my bill in half,
that’s enough reason for me to come back to Sprint. The free macrocell is just
a bonus!

iPhone users might want to try walking into a Sprint store or calling them on
the phone and asking the question below. It might go a long way.

“What will you do to get me to switch to a Sprint iPhone?”

A compendium of replies boils down to the following five incentives:

1. Will immediately replace an AT&T or Verizon iPhone with a Sprint iPhone 4S
of similar storage capacity for $99

2. Will port existing AT&T or Verizon phone number and reimburse “any” contract
early termination fee

3. $69.99/month unlimited phone, data, text, with no additional cost for
tethering

4. Will provide a free macrocell for use in your home

5. Will grant an immediate upgrade to Apple’s next-gen iPhone upon availability
for the normal subsidized price minus $99 (i.e. amount paid for the shorter
iPhone 4S)

If you’ve tried asking a Sprint representative the question above, please let
us know below what they told you.

heads up.]
