I am a customer of creedo mobile. They are a sprint reseller, i had a like mile blip where i roamed, but that was inbetween Jeff city and ashland. I get reception and 3g out in booneville at a retreat I go to. its one bar but i can use skype. Of course I use android i like my buttons and I didn't have to pay $80 extra for em. Plus the phone was free. Android has it's drawbacks, but its what I could get. But yeah, it depends on where ya are. ----- Original Message ----- From: Denny Huff To: 'Adaptive technology information and support.' This sure sounds enticing but I would be concerned about the coverage area. When I used Sprint several years ago it sure wasn’t as good as AT&T. Does anyone know if the service has improved? ______________________________________________________________________ Denny Huff - President Missouri Council of the Blind P: (636) 262-1383 TF: (888) 362-1383 F: (314) 558-0298 [email protected] www.moblind.org ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THE JOURNEY Your host: Denny Huff Listen live, SUNDAY MORNINGS AT 8:00 AM CST WWW.KLPW.COM From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Reginald George Sent: Friday, May 18, 2012 9:51 AM To: [email protected]; [email protected]; Adaptive technology information and support. Subject: [ATI] Fw: Macdailynews story: Sprint might bend over backwards toget AT&T and Verizon iPhone users to switch Here is the exact text of an article Terrie forwarded earlier to another list. I feel it’s important because this promotion may only go to the end of the month. I for one am paying $115 a month for my A.T.T IPhone 4. If I can port my number and get out of my contract for free, switch to the 4S, get a discount on the 5, and have unlimited data, as well as almost cut my bill in half, that’s enough reason for me to come back to Sprint. The free macrocell is just a bonus! iPhone users might want to try walking into a Sprint store or calling them on the phone and asking the question below. It might go a long way. “What will you do to get me to switch to a Sprint iPhone?” A compendium of replies boils down to the following five incentives: 1. Will immediately replace an AT&T or Verizon iPhone with a Sprint iPhone 4S of similar storage capacity for $99 2. Will port existing AT&T or Verizon phone number and reimburse “any” contract early termination fee 3. $69.99/month unlimited phone, data, text, with no additional cost for tethering 4. Will provide a free macrocell for use in your home 5. Will grant an immediate upgrade to Apple’s next-gen iPhone upon availability for the normal subsidized price minus $99 (i.e. amount paid for the shorter iPhone 4S) If you’ve tried asking a Sprint representative the question above, please let us know below what they told you.
