Hi. You have to take it off the wall, remove the little door and then exchange the batteries. The next challenge is to get it back on the wall correctly and tightly. Mine wasn't all winter but, was just making enough contact to operate until I changed the batteries. During a service call, the tech just snapped it back onto the wall. I had to pay for that. chuckle. ----- Original Message ----- From: John and Donna Weidlich To: Adaptive technology information and support. Does anyone know how to change batteries in a talking thermostat? Ours is telling us that the batteries are getting low. It has never told us that before, so I don't know where they are.
