But "just" referring to XHTML is not enough. Is every XHTML document an
AtomPP introspection document?

Profiles in XHTML [1] have no clear definition and I doubt we can
normatively refer to XMDP [2].

This doesn't mean we cannot use XHTML, it means we'll have to define each
and every constraint we add (classes, etc.) and provide an XMDP profile
for information prupose only (similar to the RelaxNG schema of the
atom-format)
